Youth Support Mentor

Role Purpose

To provide direct support to young people aged 16 and up. The role focuses on empowering young people to develop the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to achieve independence and transition into adulthood successfully. The Support Worker will work closely with the service team to ensure that the care and support provided align with regulatory standards and the young people’s individual needs.

Salary

£13.30 per hour. Sleep in: £50.

Key Responsibilities

• Build trusting and positive relationships with young people, offering guidance, advice, and support.
• Assist young people in developing independent living skills, including budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
• Provide emotional support, listening to young people’s concerns and helping them manage challenges.
• Encourage young people to make their own decisions and support them in taking responsibility for their actions.
