Youth Program Specialist

The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of duties related to youth flight direction and administration and to complete development assignments and training outlined in the formal management trainee training and development plan. Responsibilities Performs developmental assignments in the application of professional principles, techniques, methods, and procedures used to provide youth programs and services that meet community needs. Assists the Youth Center Director to ensure a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment exists in the Youth Programs facilities, grounds, playgrounds, and sports fields and that security and maintenance is monitored. Assists the Youth Center Director in managing appropriated funds (APF) and non-appropriated funds (NAF), and funds from other sources.
