Role Responsibility

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Kent Youth Justice Service.

We have a permanent, full-time Youth Justice Practitioner position available in West Kent.

This is an area-based roles covering West Kent (Maidstone, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks). You will be working with young people aged 10 18 years who have come into contact with the Criminal Justice System. Travel is essential to deliver our service, therefore, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

The purpose of your work will be to reduce the risk of reoffending in accordance with the agreed intervention plans and in the context of managing risk of harm to others and vulnerability issues. As a member of a multi-agency service, you will work in partnership to:

  • Complete assessments.
  • Complete reports for Court and panels.
