Youth Engagement Officer

Our Quest:

Hello. We’re The Y WA.

We’re part of a global brand, but here in WA we’re your local
not-for-profit, passionate about empowering young people. It might
sound like a big claim, but it’s what we do every day. Just ask the
amazing young people who access our services across WA. Many of
them will tell you about The Base in Belmont, a safe and welcoming
space where young people can connect, access support, take part in
activities and programs, and build positive relationships with
their peers and the community.

Right now, we’re looking for a passionate and engaging Youth
Engagement Officer to join our team at The Base. This casual
position is ideal for someone who enjoys building genuine
connections with young people, creating inclusive environments
where they feel safe and supported, and delivering meaningful
activities that encourage participation, confidence and
wellbeing.
