We are recruiting for a Year 1 Teacher for a Primary School in Wigan (WN3) to work on a long-term basis starting immediately!

The Year 1 Teacher role is to start immediately until May 2026. There are 28 children in the class and there is one full-time TA working on a one to one basis with an SEND child.

The school would like someone who has previous KS1 teaching experience and someone who has good behaviour management skills. With this Year 1 Teacher role they are looking for someone who is also confident to deliver the Phonics scheme Essential Letters and Sounds.

Your role & responsibilities:

• Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete
• Guiding students through the curriculum, marking working, setting home working tasks
