Yardman / Forklift Driver

Location: Meir, Stoke-on-Trent
Pay: £14.10 per hour
Contract: Temporary (initial cover until the end of August, with potential to extend)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm (30‑minute lunch break)

Hunters 4 Staff are working with a well‑established civil drainage builders merchant in Meir, Stoke‑on‑Trent. We need a reliable Yardman / Forklift Driver to support our busy depot. This is a hands‑on yard role, suited to someone comfortable working with heavy materials and dealing with trade customers.

The role is to provide cover initially up to the end of August, with the chance it could run on depending on circumstances.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading customer vehicles safely and efficiently
• Unloading supplier wagons and checking deliveries
• Operating a JCB TLT type forklift
• Serving customers in the yard and assisting with materials
