Yard Supervisor

About the opportunity
The company is seeking an experienced Log Yard Supervisor to take ownership of the safe and efficient operation of its north Brisbane Log Yard. This role sits at the heart of site operations and plays a key role in ensuring log supply, stock rotation and production targets are consistently achieved.

You’ll lead a small team of around 4-6 direct reports, working closely with a hands-on Leading Hand and a range of internal and external stakeholders. This is a role for someone who enjoys being visible on the ground, leading by example and driving continuous improvement across safety, efficiency and teamwork.

What you’ll be responsible for
You’ll oversee daily log yard, residues and debarker activities, ensuring operations run smoothly, safely and in line with contractual, environmental and legislative requirements. This includes:
