About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Yard Operative to join our national client's team on a temporary basis in Poole, Dorset. This is a hands-on role supporting our drivers with the efficient loading and unloading of vehicles, as well as carrying out general yard duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting drivers with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of vehicles
Organising and maintaining stock within the yard
Ensuring the yard is kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times
Carrying out manual handling tasks in line with health and safety procedures
Supporting general yard operations, including preparing materials for dispatch
Conducting basic checks on goods and reporting any damages or discrepancies
