Yard Operative

Overview

Enva Recycling Scotland is seeking a Yard Operative in Glenrothes to ensure the safe and efficient day to day operation of the Transfer station (Yard) under the direction of the Operations Manager and yard supervisor. The work involves sorting through various waste materials manually and mechanically along with site housekeeping duties and some basic general preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the yard operations are managed in line with Health and Safety legislation and Enva standards.
• Ensure all duties (recycling, inspections and cleaning) are carried out and recorded as per company and manufacturers instructions and procedures.
• Assist in the day to day operations of the yard in accordance with site licence and contractual conditions.
• Sort and separate waste types to ensure plant performance is at its highest.
