Our successful Barrow in Furness branch is looking to recruit:

Yard Assistant/Trainee HGV Driver

In this role you will be expected to work alternate Saturday mornings throughout the year.

On a daily basis you will be assisting customers, provide excellent customer service, load and unload vehicles, pick and check orders, store stock safely and maintain a tidy and safe working environment.

You will also make multi drop deliveries to customers in the surrounding area, providing top quality customer service driving the Class 2 HGV vehicles with the HIAB Crane. A Class 2 license is essential for this role. HIAB certification and experience would be advantageous, but training can be provided. A forklift license is also preferred but training can be provided.

For this position, knowledge of the building industry and building products would be a distinct advantage.
