Workshop/Mobile Engineer (Internal Only)
Job Description
Role Summary
Are you a practical, caring engineer who enjoys variety in your work?
We are looking for a Mobile/Workshop Engineer to join our NHS Wheelchair Service team. This unique hybrid role combines community-based mobile working with hands-on workshop engineering, giving you the best of both worlds.
You’ll play a vital role in ensuring NHS wheelchair users receive safe, reliable equipment — whether that’s out in the community or within our workshops at the Exeter Mobility Centre site — helping people maintain independence and improve their quality of life.
We are committed to building an inclusive and flexible workforce and welcome applications for both full-time and part-time positions. Flexible working options can be discussed at interview to support individual needs alongside service delivery.
