Workshop Operative

Our client is an installer, servicer and repair of pump equipment mostly used in the waste and water industry. They are looking for a Workshop Support Operative that will be part of a small team responsible for all production activities. The Workshop Support Operative will also support in all ongoing initiatives to increase output, continuous improvements and promote a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the pressure testing of various pump components in line with production schedule/build requirements.
• Assist in the rigging and derigging of test arrangements including the insertion and removal of pumps.
• Clean down, touch up/paint, and prepare pumps for dispatch following test.
