Workshop foreman

Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (Matric). Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Red Seal Trade Test). Valid Code EC driver's licence (advantageous). 5–10 years' experience in truck and trailer maintenance. Minimum 3 years' supervisory or foreman experience within a transport or logistics environment. Knowledge of heavy commercial vehicles. Computer literacy (MS Office and workshop management systems). Sound knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and fleet management. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead Diesel Mechanics, Technicians, Apprentices, and Workshop Assistants. Allocate daily repair and maintenance tasks to workshop staff. Oversee preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on trucks and trailers.
