Workshop Engineer – Grays, Essex

Location: commutable from Dartford, Basildon, Romford, Rochester, Barking, Epping, Chelmsford and surrounding areas.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + benefits. Working Monday – Friday with flexible hours.

Overview

This stable permanent role offers a highly varied day shift at a modern, fully equipped local depot. The successful candidate will work on contemporary equipment, balancing a good work‑life approach while progressing within the business.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect and test access, material handling and forklift equipment.
• Carry out electrical, mechanical and hydraulic work on the machinery.
• Adhere to safety procedures and quality standards.
• Work Monday – Friday with flexible hours.
