Duties and Responsibilities
:
Provide overall coordination and day-to-day scheduling of projects.Health and safety of all workers as per Cavanagh’s Health and Safety Policy and Procedures as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act.Daily site superintendent logs and hazard analysis/workplans through Site DocsLead, plan, organize and implement all aspects of the project on site alongside Project Manager.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine scope of work.Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding, and hardware.Manage material for work tasks in an efficient manner to minimize waste.Meet wi...
