Position Summary/Description:
The Workers’ Compensation Clinical Hygienist administers the University’s Workers’ Compensation Program and Clinical Compliance.
The position coordinates and monitors the University’s workers’ compensation and clinical safety programs as well as serving as the main liaison to the State’s Third Party Administrator ( TPA ) for workers’ compensation. As part of the Workers’ Compensation program, the position will coordinate management of the program as well as update the OSHA 300 log to maintain compliance regarding federal ( OSHA ), state ( NCOSHA , NC Workers’ Compensation Act, OSHR ) and university requirements.
As part of the Clinical Safety program, the position will coordinate management of the program as well as maintain compliance with regards to federal ( OSHA ), state ( NCOSHA ), Joint Commission (JC) and University requirements.
