Job Purpose

• Find work placements and industry placements for students.
• Help students gain useful real-world experience linked to their course and future career.
• Build relationships with employers to arrange placements, careers talks, masterclasses, interview practice and virtual work experience.

Main Duties

• Contact employers to source suitable work placement opportunities.
• Check employers can offer proper supervision and a safe working environment.
• Work with teaching teams to match students with relevant placement opportunities.
• Keep accurate records of placement hours, employer activity and compliance checks.
• Make sure students are prepared before starting placements, including paperwork and training.
