WordPress Developer / Programmer (St. Catharines)

Position Title

180 Marketing is looking for a WordPress Developer / Programmer with minimum 3 years of experience to provide maternity leave coverage. This role is ideal for someone with custom WordPress development experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment.

About the Role

You’ll help build, maintain, troubleshoot, and launch custom WordPress websites. We do not use purchased themes or page builders. Our websites are custom developed from designer files, with a focus on performance, SEO, user experience, security, and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Build custom WordPress websites from design files
• Create custom themes, custom post types, and custom Gutenberg blocks
• Work with ACF, WP_Query, WooCommerce, and responsive design
• Launch websites from staging to live
• Complete website updates, maintenance, troubleshooting, and backups
• Manage hosting tasks, SSL renewals...
