Wireless Technician or Mobile Rigger

About The Role

This role will see you working at heights on mobile cell towers, delivering network upgrades, installations, and fault resolution. You’ll be part of a skilled team responsible for maintaining and evolving New Zealand’s telecommunications networks.

Key Aspects Of The Role Include

• Climbing and rigging on telco towers and poles
• Installing, upgrading, and maintaining mobile cell tower infrastructure
• Working on telecommunications equipment (Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei)
• Performing connections and installations at height
• Supporting tower upgrades, structural installs, and new builds
• Conducting fault finding and maintenance activities
• Using cranes, rigging gear, and mobile plant equipment safely
• Interpreting basic RF diagrams and technical drawings
• Working collaboratively in a team environment across various sites
