Overview Our government client in Regina, SK is looking for a Wireless Solution Architect for a 6+ month contract to start, with possible extensions, reference #C . This position is preferred to be local to the Regina area but candidates can be remote located anywhere in Canada.

Responsibilities

Perform an analysis of the current provincial Wi‑Fi environment including Service Set Identifier (SSID) inventory, controller/Access Point (AP) fleet inventory, and wireless traffic flow mapping.

Develop authentication flow diagrams, traffic flow diagrams (layer 2 & 3), target SSID matrix.

Radio Frequency (RF) design baseline parameters for the proposed architecture.

Develop the future‑state provincial Wi‑Fi architecture and standards, including standard SSIDs, authentication mechanisms, and design considerations for security, QoS, ...
