Wireless Engineer

Responsibilities Conduct wireless network surveys using Ekahau Site Survey and other Wi-Fi analysis tools to assess coverage, capacity, and performance. Design and optimize Wi-Fi networks (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) for enterprise, industrial, or campus environments. Create detailed heatmaps, coverage reports, and predictive RF designs using Ekahau Pro. Perform pre-deployment and post-deployment wireless assessments , ensuring signal strength, channel utilization, and interference mitigation. Recommend suitable access point placements, antenna types, and configurations based on environmental and user requirements. Document survey results, configuration changes, and recommendations for client and internal records. Stay current on wireless standards (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7) and emerging technologies. Support implementation of security protocols (WPA3, 802.1X, etc.) and compliance with corporate standards.
