Wire Harness Design Release Engineer

• The Wire Harness Design and Release Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end design, validation, and release of wiring harness assemblies and associated components for vehicle electrical systems.
• This role ensures that all design documentation aligns with master models and supports cross-functional activities throughout the product lifecycle—from concept through launch and post-production support.
• The engineer will collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing teams, and quality stakeholders to drive robust design execution, change management, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in the creation of 3D models and 2D drawings for wiring harness assemblies.
• Ensure part drawings and documentation match master models (Model is Master).
• Author and validate CCDs, CNs, IAAs, and PERs to meet all engineering and release requirements.
