Job Description Job Title Western Regional Radio System (WRRS) Manager Department Office of Emergency Management OR Information Technology FLSA Status Non-Exempt Reports To Burnet County Judge SUMMARY This position is responsible for maintaining and managing the regional public safety and public service radio systems and networks. Work involves ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of the county and the Western Regional Radio System. Performs maintenance on radio system infrastructure; assists with incidents, emergency situations, and disaster response. Maintains licensing and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines. Participates, coordinates and promotes local, regional and statewide planning related to interoperability and effective communication systems.
