Welfare Unit Fitter

Overview

FM Conway is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Welfare Unit Fitter to join our Plant and Workshop Division. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and refurbishing portable welfare units. You’ll ensure all units are maintained to the highest mechanical and electrical standards, meet safety requirements, and are fully prepared for hire or deployment. This is a full‑time, permanent role based in Sevenoaks, Kent.

Duties

• Perform scheduled maintenance, servicing, and general repairs on welfare units, covering both interior and exterior components.
• Inspect, test, and repair electrical systems, including generators, lighting, and heating units, ensuring full functionality and compliance.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime.
