Welding Engineer

Job summary

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to perform the functions of a Welding Engineer, whom will have the responsibility of reviewing project specifications for welding processes, base metal, filler metal, and heat treatment requirements. Develops and writes Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and provide technical support for welder performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced welding processes including MIG/TIG.
• Review design standards to provide input to designs and part process standards.
• Provide input for manufacturing release reviews, manufacturing process options and evaluate manufacturing process.
• Help create, maintain, and approve work instructions (including specifications, engineering changes, process control, and tooling definition/requirements.
