The Application Engineer is responsible for providing application support, product recommendations, troubleshooting, and other technical support to product managers, R&D, Quality, ITW sales team, Sales Channel, and End-Users. The application Engineer will be a Hobart product expert and work on welding-related projects to increase the pull through of ITW Welding Products.

+ Serve as an Application Expert regarding stick electrodes, tubular, aluminum, and solid wire products and processes.
+ Perform and create key product data to support customer needs.
+ Provide end-user solutions to optimize value, both via phone and at customer sites.
+ Perform and create reports on product evaluations and customer projects.
+ Effectively conduct training sessions (theoretical and practical) in welding techniques and processes for internal and external customers.
+ Field calls from the Applications Engineering Hotline.<...
