Imperial Truck Repairs is looking for qualified and experienced Welders to join our team in Kembla Grange, NSW.

Position Overview:

The Welder will do repairs and maintenance of a range of trailers ranging from minor to major repairs.

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
2. Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
3. Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
4. Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces
5. Weld components using welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
6. Repair and maintain trailers by welding pieces and filling gaps
