Welder with Taseko Mines in BC

Taseko Mines Limited is seeking a Welder for the Gibraltar copper mine in McLeese Lake, BC. This role focuses on safety and operational standards while maintaining mining equipment.
As a Certified Journeyman Welder, you'll report to the General Foreman, performing critical maintenance on heavy equipment, including Bulldozers and Komatsu Haul Trucks. You will also aid in the training of apprentices and support a culture of safety and excellence within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain machinery like P&H shovels and drills
• Execute preventative and predictive maintenance tasks
• Develop skills of apprentices through hands-on work
• Work cooperatively with various trades in maintenance
• Promote a zero-incident workplace focus
Requirements:
• Valid Canadian driver's license required
• Interprovincial trade qualifications (Red Seal Certification) in Welding
