**Job Description**

This role is a MIG Welder position within a manufacturing facility in South Bend, responsible for welding a variety of structural components, including floors, side panels, I-beams, and channels. You will use blueprints and measuring tools to fit and weld materials accurately, operate an overhead crane to move materials, and perform high-quality TAC MIG welds to secure structures in place.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform MIG welding on mild steel components for structural assemblies, including floors, side panels, I-beams, channels, and other structural steel elements.
+ Use TAC MIG welding techniques to lock materials in place and ensure strong, secure joints.
+ Read and interpret blueprints to determine material placement, weld locations, and assembly requirements.
+ Measure materials accurately using a tape measure down to 1/16 of an inch to ensure precise cuts and fits.
