**Job Description**
We are seeking skilled and certified Welding and Shipfitting professionals to support shipbuilding and repair operations. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in welding carbon steel and stainless steel using SMAW and/or GTAW processes in multiple positions, including 6G. This role requires strict adherence to quality, safety, and industry standards.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform welding on carbon steel to carbon steel using Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW).
+ Execute stainless steel welding using SMAW and/or Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW).
+ Complete welds in all positions, including flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead, and 6G restricted position.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
+ Ensure weld quality meets required codes and specifications (AWS, NAVSEA, or project standards as applicable).
