Job Summary

Permanent position in Ipswich, Suffolk, on-site.

Pay: £16.00-£17.00 p/h, with a pay rise after 3 months. Overtime available during busy periods.

Hours: 07:00-15:30, 40 hours a week. Immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG welding mild steel up from 20mm+
• Fabricating with various hand and power tools
• Use of cutting, drilling & grinding machinery
• Always follow and adhere to the company’s health and safety standards

Requirements

Must be able to work independently, read and work from engineering drawings, and comply with weld symbols and standards.

Successful completion of a 3‑month probation period required.

Experienced fabricators may qualify for a higher hourly rate.
