**Job Description**
Lays out, performs fit-up, tacks, and welds parts to produce a weldment or sub-
weldment. Joins various metals (aluminum, steel, stainless steel) using a full range of welding processes in different
weld positions. Performs rework on product involving repair of defective welds and machined features. Performs
other duties as assigned.

+ Works from engineering drawings, work instructions, operation/process sheets, pictures and project
+ specifications.
+ Operates manual and semi-automatic welding and plasma cutting equipment. Skilled in Gas Metal Arc Welding
+ (GMAW) .Operates oxy-fuel cutting equipment as well as a plasma torch for the purpose of cutting.
+ Operates pneumatic tooling such as grinders, sanders, drills, and threaded hole tapping
+ equipment for the purpose of fit up.
+ Uses fixtures to layout, locate and position parts and features to be welded and reworked.
