**Job Title: Welder / Fabricator**
**Job Description**
This role involves operating a variety of manual and semi-automatic welding and metalworking equipment to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components. You will read and interpret blueprints and specifications, perform structural welding, and ensure high-quality welds in a busy weld shop environment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding, shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding.
+ Perform structural welding to fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications.
+ Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout requirements and plan welding and fabrication tasks.
