This role focuses on MIG welding structural steel components in a professional fabrication environment. You will interpret blueprints and weld symbols, perform fit-up and fabrication of structural assemblies, and support safe material handling throughout the plant using overhead cranes. The position offers steady, hands-on work on large-scale structural steel projects that demand precision, craftsmanship, and adherence to safety standards.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform MIG welding on structural steel components using a wire feed gun in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to plan and execute welds accurately on structural steel assemblies.
+ Fit up structural steel based on welding blueprints, including layout, alignment, and preparation of materials prior to welding.
