**Job Description**
This role focuses on flux core welding on mild steel to fabricate barges. You will use various welding processes, interpret blueprints, and contribute to structural fabrication while collaborating closely with a team under the guidance of a supervisor.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform flux core welding on mild steel components used in barge fabrication.
+ Carry out MIG and TIG welding tasks as required for structural and fabrication work.
+ Read and interpret blueprints to understand weld symbols, dimensions, and fabrication requirements.
+ Execute tack welding and fitting to assemble parts prior to final welds.
+ Work with a variety of materials including stainless steel, carbon steel, and structural steel.
+ Use stick welding when needed to complete structural or repair welds.
+ Follow instructions from the supervisor and work effectively as part of a team.
