WELDER AND FLAME CUTTER

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-core).
• Set up and assemble components prior to welding.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Inspect and test welds to ensure structural soundness.
• Repair broken or cracked parts using welding techniques.
• Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) to verify dimensions.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace cleanliness.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines.

• Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Certification from a welding school or technical program preferred (AWS Certified Welder).
