**Job Description**

This role focuses on performing high-quality MIG welding and fabrication to assemble, repair, and prepare metal components in a manufacturing environment. You will use your welding fundamentals, blueprint reading, and metalworking skills to produce precise, durable welds on stainless, mild, and carbon steel across multiple positions.

**Responsibilities**

+ Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions while ensuring consistent quality and adherence to specifications.
+ Prepare broken or damaged parts for welding by grooving or scarfing surfaces to create proper weld profiles.
+ Position and clamp workpieces together or assemble them in jigs or fixtures to maintain alignment and dimensional accuracy.
+ Tack assemblies together to hold components in place prior to completing final welds.
