Adjust welder settings based on metallurgical properties of metal used in blueprint to ensure quality welds Work from blueprints, to set up and weld parts using appropriate fixtures Operate hand grinders as needed Visually inspect work and fixturing on an on-going basis to check quality standards and the appearance of the product High School Diploma, GED, or demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations at a high school level Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 70lbs
