Weld Process Engineer II

Client company located in central Kentucky (Springfield area) has asked me to scout for a Weld Engineer II candidate. Excellent global company with great benefits including a nice PTO plan offering 3 day weekends periodically through the summer months. Candidate must have Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Welding or Metallurgical). Essential Functions: Support production & engineering with product launches Assist in managing projects that will affect the organization Evaluate new product concepts and designs and provide input regarding manufacturability and cost. Evaluate existing product designs/processes and make improvements regarding cost and quality Perform conceptual process definition for new products to evaluate design alternatives.
