Make a difference as a Weekend Program Leader with Between Friends! This part-time role focuses on delivering engaging and inclusive recreational opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
In this position, you will oversee community-based activities within the W.E.S.O.A.R! program. As a leader, your responsibilities include ensuring safety for 8-10 participants, adapting activities for inclusivity, and planning engaging programs. You will supervise volunteers while maintaining communication with caregivers to ensure an enriching experience for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement community programs ensuring participant safety and engagement
• Plan program logistics, including budgets and schedules
• Administer medication and complete documentation as required
• Support, evaluate, and guide volunteers during sessions
• Report concerns to the Program Coordinator promptly
