Your Mission: You will lead an assigned web press team to produce printed materials of the highest quality that meet or exceed our customers' expectations. What You Will Do: Lead: As a Lead Press Operator you take responsibility for your assigned press team, operations and products on a day to day basis. You know how to create and maintain a positive, healthy team environment with your team to drive outstanding results through mentoring, training, and guiding new team members in your craft and the print process. Ensure a Quality Product, Every Time: Assess preliminary needs and job specifications prior to the product run. During the print cycle you will assess trims, alignment, correctness of folds, ink quality, color quality and clarity. Identify and remediate quality issues appropriately and on a timely basis to minimize rework. Contribute to Continuous Improvement/Lean initiatives.
