Weather Technician - SFRC Contract

Amentum is seeking a Weather Systems Technician for the Space Force Range Contract.

**Typical Duties**

+ Operate, maintain, and repair Weather Tower instrumentation, Doppler Radar Wind Profilers, Lightning Detection systems, Rawinsonde/Radiosonde systems, Ocean Surveillance Radar RF and control systems, subsystems and components.
+ Displays a thorough understanding of weather sensor systems and radar systems.
+ Good record keeping and verbal communications skills.
+ Works well independently and in a team environment.
+ Other duties as assigned

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Two or more years of applicable experience in electronics and electrical theory or applicable range experience desired.
+ Associate degree in electronic technology, or two (2) year technical school, or equivalent military experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
