Water Vole Recovery Project Officer

Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Water Vole Recovery Project Officer with experience of creating and enhancing wetland habitats and working with a wide range of landownersto play a key role in delivering our ambitious Water Vole Recovery Project. 

This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference to one of the UK's most iconic and threatened native mammals. 

What you will be doing

Working closely with colleagues, landowners, farmers, volunteers and partner organisations, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of practical conservation activities that create, restore and enhance habitats for water voles across Nottinghamshire. You will also contribute to a coordinated mink control programme, helping to reduce one of the greatest threats to water vole populations.
