Position Summary

Under limited supervision of the Lead Water Technician, the Water Plant Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of water treatment and fluid handling systems in an upstream oil and gas environment. This role ensures reliable performance of water facilities, gathering pipelines, and fluid transfer processes, while maintaining required injection volumes. The technician performs daily monitoring, operation, and maintenance of equipment across all fluid‑handling areas and manages communications related to fluid movement and dispatch. This position troubleshoots and resolves most operational issues independently, escalating the most complex engineering‑related challenges as needed.
