Wastewater Plant Operations Technician I (Laughlin) The Clark County Water Reclamation District is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Wastewater Plant Operations Technician I (Laughlin) position. This position will be primarily responsible for: Becoming familiar with Plant SCADA and alarm system. Conducting laboratory tests and maintaining records of plant operations. Inspecting treatment plant equipment and creating service requests. Performing general plant housekeeping such as sweeping, cleaning, emptying trash, and plant clean up. Understanding NPDES permit and its importance to the environment. Learning from repetitive tasks to identify abnormalities related to the functioning of equipment and processes. Complete daily log entries, round sheets, bench sheets and chain of custody accurately.
