The Wastewater Operator ensures safe, efficient, and compliant treatment of water and wastewater by operating, monitoring, and maintaining treatment equipment and processes. This role plays a critical part in protecting public health and the environment by following strict regulatory and safety standards while delivering consistent, high-quality treatment results.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate equipment to purify and clarify water, process wastewater, and safely manage and dispose of sewage.
+ Collect water and sewage samples according to established procedures and schedules.
+ Conduct laboratory tests on water and sewage samples to assess quality and process performance.
+ Document test results accurately and prepare reports for submission to regulatory agencies.
