Waste Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the multi‑award winning Energy & Sustainability Team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust as a Waste Officer.

About the role

As a Waste Officer you will be responsible for monitoring waste services, undertaking waste audits, ensuring legislative compliance, identifying and delivering projects to reduce waste and improve segregation, and supporting waste management across the Trust.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor waste services and perform waste audits across MFT sites.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
• Identify and deliver projects to reduce waste and improve segregation.
• Support waste management across multiple Trust sites.
