Waste Decommissioning Technician - Central Government

Role: Waste Decommissioning Technician (x3) – Contract Length: 12 months – Location: Harwell (working pattern 4 days a week, 9.25 hours a day) – IR35: Inside – Pay: £22.17 per hour – Security Clearance: SC requested.

Spinwell is recruiting for a Waste Decommissioning Technician for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE WASTE DECOMMISSIONING TECHNICIAN

• Ensure positive identification of hazards via Point of Work Safety Assessment (POWSA).
• Ensure work areas are maintained and remedial action carried out timely to site standards.
• Solve routine operational problems using efficiency improvement techniques.
• Undertake Health Physics monitoring duties, monitoring plant and equipment as required within competence level.
