**Responsibilities**

+ Conduct daily pre-use safety inspections on assigned forklifts in compliance with company procedures and WorkSafeBC standards.
+ Operate forklifts to move heavy steel products safely throughout the production shop, yard, and warehouse.
+ Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and equipment, adhering to safe handling procedures.
+ Operate equipment safely in adverse conditions, maintaining environmental awareness and hazard recognition.
+ Refuel propane-powered forklifts and handle propane cylinders safely, ensuring proper certification.
