Job Description

The role

reports directly to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for supervising daily despatch operations, coordinating warehouse activities and leading a small team of 8 to 10 to achieve service level targets while maintaining a strong customer-first culture.

Key Responsibilities Despatch Operations
  • Manage daily outbound warehouse operations in line with company standards and procedures.
  • Ensure all customer orders received prior to 2:30pm are despatched on the same day.
  • Prioritise and allocate work to the despatch team throughout the day.
  • Release orders and manage workflow to meet service level agreements and delivery deadlines.
  • Ensure all EDI scan-pack orders are processed and released within required delivery windows.
  • Identify and escalate issues impacting order fulfilment, including stock discrepancies, staffing or system issues.
